Shinto Counter Stool - Black

The Shinto Counter Stool incorporates elements of the traditional Japanese Torii Gate, often seen at the entrances of Shinto shrines. The stool promotes moments of pause and encourages gathering around the dining table with loved ones.

The hand-crafted frame is wrapped in a quarter inch thick leather. As the untreated leather seat ages, it will develop a natural patina instead of being treated with chemicals. Over time, the leather will mold to the wood frame, reminiscent of beloved vintage pieces.

The thick leather, along with the handcrafted frame and a curved backrest, offer exceptional comfort and an eye-catching sense of style.

  • Made in Istanbul, Turkey.
  • Dimensions (H x W x D): 38" x 18.5" x 19"
  • Seat Height: 24.5"
  • Weight 22 lbs
  • Care (Leather): To care for the leather on the Shinto Counter Stool, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or spills. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaners, as these may damage the leather. If you wish to apply a sealant to the leather we recommend using Leather Hero, as it has been tested and recommended by our team for preserving the natural state of the leather while providing protection and developing a unique patina over time.
  • 5 Year Warranty through House of Leon
  • No Assembly Required
  • Note: We use high-quality, full-grain vintage leather that is not treated with synthetic finishes. This allows the natural oils from your body to create a unique patina over time, sealing the leather in its own beautiful way. The look and feel of this slow forming patina cannot be replicated with synthetic finishes.
